Getting to Know Dr. Paige

Hi everyone! Welcome to my website and blog!

My goal with this blog is to provide education about topics related to the body, function, common symptoms and ways to improve those symptoms.

I know your first thought is probably “why should I listen to her?”

Well- I am a Doctor… of Physical Therapy. In other words, I spent a lot of time in school. I went to Troy University for my undergraduate work and graduated there in 2015. From there, I went directly into the graduate program at Texas Woman’s University in Dallas for my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. 7 years later- I have a few letters after my name and the new designation of Dr. Paige.

Some fun details-

I am the proud wife of Daniel Hubert, he is my rock and my wings all at the same time! I would not have had the guts to start this blog or Recharged Performance Therapy without him! We are the proud Dog Parents to two wonderful (and slightly crazy) Labs: Ruger and Remington! They are the happiest and most spoiled dogs in the neighborhood! We don’t have any children yet, but I stave off baby fever by volunteering in our Children’s Ministry, EKidz at Elevation-Melbourne. I love to stay active and healthy, which includes working out with my husband and taking occasional trips to the park to play soccer or frisbee golf.

I used to be a D1 Two-Sport Athlete (Soccer and Track) at Troy University back in the day, but now I am quite happy with having a less strenuous workout routine! I love sports and have a pretty decent background with injury/performance as I was always getting treated for something! Some of us are just more injury-prone, I guess!

I am so excited to begin a blog about the common things that I see as a PT in everyday life. My main goals are to shed some light on things that cause individuals to have a decrease in the quality of their lives. As a therapist, I desire the opportunity to tackle these obstacles and help my patients transform their symptoms and their overall lives.

One of the questions that I get most often is “what does a Physical Therapist actually do?”

The answer is pretty simple. We are the movement experts in the medical field. If something is moving within the human body, I can work with it. If you have pain, we can help solve it. If you want to be able to move better/more efficiently to improve at running/sport/work, we can help there too. I am placing a list of common symptoms and diagnoses that I treat below. If you, a family member or friend, have any one of them- please don’t hesitate to reach out and talk to me! I am more than willing to discuss treatment options with you over the phone, via email or text!
